12 days!!

So I get married in 12 days!!! Ah Crazy! I am so excited. The last few weeks have been pretty crazy with school ending and the last few days at school and trying to finish planning everything for the wedding. I flew home on Friday morning and went straight to my bridal shower which was the cutest thing ever!! It was a ton of fun and I am so happy and grateful for all the stuff we got! This week is jam packed with different things we have to do. On Saturday I fly back to Salt Lake for my sister in law's wedding. Then we drive home the next day and that week is even crazier! Then on Friday we get married!!!!!

Update on my life

My life has been really crazy the last few months. This is the hardest semester I have ever had in school. I'm trying to get an internship in San Antonio for the summer. Does anyone have any connections or thoughts?? Brady and I get married in like 36 days or something crazy!! I'm so excited! For conference weekend we went up to the Jardine's cabin. It was so nice to get away from Provo for the night!! Anyway, I am very happy and can't wait for May! :)

I'm Engaged!!!!!!!!!

That's right!! I'm getting married to Brady Fish on May 15, 2009!! We are both so excited!! We dated a little bit in 2007 and were reunited June 2008. Brady is my very best friend and I love him so so much! I can't wait!!

The proposal: We went to Kiwanis Park in Provo on Thursday to play catch with a football. This is where we said goodbye in 2007 when I went to BYU Hawaii and he moved to Georgia. It is also the same park where we were reunited this summer. Anyway, it was around 6:00 pm so the sun was just about to set and it was the most beautiful night. I actually had the thought "man this would be a great time to propose!" After jamming my finger, I thought he was going to go it and I got really nervous. But he didn't do it. So we played a little more till he decided he wanted Taco Bell and we needed to go get it right that second. We got in the car and not 3 seconds later I said "I thought you were going to propose back there!" Right then, he turned the car around and said he would. I was freaking out because I didn't want him just to do it because I had said that. So once he parked the car he said he just wanted to slow dance to this rascal flatts song (we had done that a couple years ago). I got out of the car and we danced to the one song against my will. I hurried and got back in and he said he wanted to dance to one more song (Faith Hill-Breathe). I really didn't want to, but I said okay and right when I got out of the car he got down on one knee. I was so surprised!! Right when he got down, I started crying really hard. I was so happy!!! Anyway, I was just so excited and happy and I can't wait for May 15!!!!!!!

Summer should hurry.

I can't believe the holidays are already over. Here I am once again, sitting in my little apartment, updating my blog with a huge blanket wrapped around me. I am now starting to realize how little pictures I took this year, which is unusual. Christmas was great! Santa was very kind to me this year.

I got a dvd burner for my computer so I can burn the movies I make onto a dvd. Brady also pointed out that it's blue ray or something so I guess I can watch movies in HD on my computer now! Pretty sweet. We did the tradition of going to my grandma and grandpa Davis's for dinner on Christmas Eve and then again for breakfast on Christmas morning. Our family will probably doing that for the next 600 years.

I just don't see how anybody could break it! So during the break Brady was in Washington and other parts of the country, while I was in AZ the whole time. I decided to come back to Utah a little early on New Years Eve because Brady and half his family (including his parents) were here.

New Years Eve was so so fun!! Right when he picked me up from the airport we went straight to downtown Salt Lake. There was a big party called First Night going on outside. It was like 18 degrees. There was a live band, hypnotist, fire dancers, ice skating, art shows, snowboarding movies, hot chocolate and lots of people watching! I thought my toes were going to fall off by the end, but luckily they didn't.

The anticipation for the break, Christmas and New Years is so ridiculous and then all of a sudden it's gone. Next thing you know, we will be posting about 4th of July again! I look forward to that day. So now that the best part of winter is over, I say it's time to start thinking about summer. Winter in AZ isn't that bad, hence the short sleeve shirts outside.

My family is going on a cruise down to Mexico for spring break and Emily already figured out it's 75 days after Jan. 1. That's how much we love the sun. I can't wait for the cruise!!!! And I can't wait for it to be warm again so we can wear our swimsuits all day and every day. What's not to like about summer?!?

Where's the snow?!

So it's December 7 and there still has not been one snow storm! I'm not even mad. It has been the nicest weather! I am just worried that because the winter is starting so late that it is going to go until June or something crazy. The last few weeks have been really fun! On Monday, Kate and her roommates threw their other roommate a mocktail bday party. Everybody had to come in cocktail attire and drink virgin cocktails. It was so fun!

It was Brady's birthday this week so Tuesday I planned a huge Tucanos dinner with a bunch of our friends.
Then Wednesday night I surprised him with tickets to the Jazz game. It was really fun! I also got him the game Settlers of Catan, which every boy loves. I have never played, but of course once we started playing I loved it! We are both really competitive so things have got a little heated at times, but it's fun.

Last night Brady, me and Lauren and Ryan went to the BYU vs. Utah State game in Salt Lake at the Energy Solutions Arena. Brady and his friends camped out for a couple days to get the best tickets, so our seats were on the floor!! The place was packed!! There were more people than the Jazz game on Wednesday! Afterward we went to dinner and walked around the temple lights. It was a great date night! I can't believe how soon Christmas is!! Oh and PS I cut bangs and I don't know how I feel about them!

Thankful

Happy Late Thanksgiving! Today I was very thankful. While I was at my grandma's house, I just kept thinking about how lucky I was to have such a great family. It's true that the things that matter most in life are free. I am so grateful to have a loving, close family. We all have our weird quirks and that is what makes everyone so special. I had such a great day today! After eating tons of food, all the girls (and Ryan), went to the movies. Everybody except for me, Lauren and Ryan went and saw Twilight. We saw the new Four Christmases movie. It was pretty funny, but I was wishing Brady was there the whole time. Then we all came home to my house and played a good game of Take Two. After that, my mom, Shelley and I watched The Notebook on tv. It was the perfect ending! Of course I couldn't keep from crying after only 15 minutes into the movie and by the end I was bawling. I am just so grateful for all the love I have in my life. This is why I have The Notebook music on my blog. I decided that everybody else will probably be changing their backgrounds and music to Christmas now, but I am going to love The Notebook till Dec. 1 and hold out. Happy Thanksgiving everybody! Thanks for reading my blog :)!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was really fun! My mom sent me the leather catsuit she wore last year. I wore it and some other accesories to be a devil. Emily was Minnie Mouse and Brady was a jabowakee (I probably spelled that wrong?) Anyway, we had a ton of fun! We went to Abbey's party and then to Lauren and Ryan's for a bit for some wings. I thought I would be self concious the whole night about wearing my catsuit, but I wasn't. On Saturday we went to the last BYU home game. It was really nice weather which made it fun. I can't wait to go home for Thanksgiving. I haven't been home since the beginning of August. It feels like forever ago!! School is getting pretty tough, but I think I might be able to graduate next Dec. which would be awesome!!

So You Think You Can Dance

A couple weeks ago, SYTYCD came to Salt Lake. I had been looking at tickets online for about a month before but they were really expensive! Brady LOVES the show so I knew it would be a fun surprise to take him. The day of the show I got on ebay and saw 2 tickets for a pretty good price so I just bought them! I called Brady and told him we were leaving in an hour. He was pretty excited! Not only did I get tickets, but I got floor tickets on the third row. Our seats were amazing! It was way fun!! My family came in town last weekend and we had a lot of fun! We went to the Jazz vs. Suns pre game and the BYU game. It's always fun to have them come visit. Oh and I am also posting another picture of me with brown hair because the other one wasn't that good. K bye!

Brunette!

I decided I needed a change and the only way I could think of was to dye my hair brown. I have always wanted to do it, but I have never had the guts. Now that I did it, I can't really decide how I feel. It seems like I am wearing a wig! In my heart I just feel like a blonde. I'm sure I'll be back to my roots in no time! Let me know what you think :)

Does anybody even read my blog??

I am just wondering if anybody even reads my blog. I like updating it and such, but I don't feel like it's really worth it. If you read it or even just blog stalk it, will you comment on this post please? Thanks! :)

FALL

Fall is the second best season!! I love all the beautiful colors. Fall doesn't exist in Arizona. Last Sunday Brady and I went with a huge group of people on a motorcycle ride up the Alpine Loop (threw Provo canyon and out to Alpine) and it was so amazing!!!! The colors were great. Anyway, so nothing new is going on. School is really hard, but I am doing pretty well. I am in mostly upper division classes now so I feel like I am learning the same thing in every class. Two weeks ago we went to the state fair for Emily's 19th birthday. It was really fun! Last weekend my parents came up and went to the BYU game and just hung out. It was Brady's first game since he was little! It was really fun to have them here!!

Blast to the past.

So one of my good friends recently invented a time machine so I went in it. It was really fun and I took a high school picture while I was back there. It's from 1960. I'm back in 2008 now though so don't worry...

PHOTO SHOOT

Last night I was in a photo shoot. Our friend James is into photography so we went up the canyon and he took some really cool shots. These are just a few I took with my own camera. It was super fun! I'm really sad summer is over. I am already looking forward to October break.

I'm a junior...in college.

I haven't updated my blog lately because there is really nothing to update about. I moved into my new apartment and it's really nice! My mom drove Emily up last weekend, so she was here to help both Emily and I move in. For the last week and a half I stayed at the Jardine's house in Alpine, which was nice, but quite a commute. Anyway, my apartment is pretty small, but I'm used to it because my King Henry bedroom was also tiny. Keri is my only other roommate who has moved in and I alredy knew her. The other two girls are moving in this week. I'm really excited, but nervous at the same time! I have done a lot of things on my own i.e. Hawii and London, but for some reason this is more intimidating. I guess it's a little more personal. Today was the first day of classes at UVU. I started work last week and it was weird going from nobody in the halls to a ZILLION people in the halls. It really was crazy, but a good crazy. I enjoy the rush of stress and the high pace in which everyone walks as if they have somewhere more important than the person next to them to get to. It reminds me of the airport. Everybody there is trying to get on a plane and it's stressful. I like it. A couple days ago I had the idea to tie dye shirts so Brady had a bunch of people over and we tie dyed shirts and listened to music. It was really fun! It's finally time to get back to the real life. I thought I wanted this, but after going to class for 3 hours today I realized I was wrong.
