Summer should hurry.

I can't believe the holidays are already over. Here I am once again, sitting in my little apartment, updating my blog with a huge blanket wrapped around me. I am now starting to realize how little pictures I took this year, which is unusual. Christmas was great! Santa was very kind to me this year.

I got a dvd burner for my computer so I can burn the movies I make onto a dvd. Brady also pointed out that it's blue ray or something so I guess I can watch movies in HD on my computer now! Pretty sweet. We did the tradition of going to my grandma and grandpa Davis's for dinner on Christmas Eve and then again for breakfast on Christmas morning. Our family will probably doing that for the next 600 years.

I just don't see how anybody could break it! So during the break Brady was in Washington and other parts of the country, while I was in AZ the whole time. I decided to come back to Utah a little early on New Years Eve because Brady and half his family (including his parents) were here.

New Years Eve was so so fun!! Right when he picked me up from the airport we went straight to downtown Salt Lake. There was a big party called First Night going on outside. It was like 18 degrees. There was a live band, hypnotist, fire dancers, ice skating, art shows, snowboarding movies, hot chocolate and lots of people watching! I thought my toes were going to fall off by the end, but luckily they didn't.

The anticipation for the break, Christmas and New Years is so ridiculous and then all of a sudden it's gone. Next thing you know, we will be posting about 4th of July again! I look forward to that day. So now that the best part of winter is over, I say it's time to start thinking about summer. Winter in AZ isn't that bad, hence the short sleeve shirts outside.

My family is going on a cruise down to Mexico for spring break and Emily already figured out it's 75 days after Jan. 1. That's how much we love the sun. I can't wait for the cruise!!!! And I can't wait for it to be warm again so we can wear our swimsuits all day and every day. What's not to like about summer?!?

Where's the snow?!

So it's December 7 and there still has not been one snow storm! I'm not even mad. It has been the nicest weather! I am just worried that because the winter is starting so late that it is going to go until June or something crazy. The last few weeks have been really fun! On Monday, Kate and her roommates threw their other roommate a mocktail bday party. Everybody had to come in cocktail attire and drink virgin cocktails. It was so fun!

It was Brady's birthday this week so Tuesday I planned a huge Tucanos dinner with a bunch of our friends.
Then Wednesday night I surprised him with tickets to the Jazz game. It was really fun! I also got him the game Settlers of Catan, which every boy loves. I have never played, but of course once we started playing I loved it! We are both really competitive so things have got a little heated at times, but it's fun.

Last night Brady, me and Lauren and Ryan went to the BYU vs. Utah State game in Salt Lake at the Energy Solutions Arena. Brady and his friends camped out for a couple days to get the best tickets, so our seats were on the floor!! The place was packed!! There were more people than the Jazz game on Wednesday! Afterward we went to dinner and walked around the temple lights. It was a great date night! I can't believe how soon Christmas is!! Oh and PS I cut bangs and I don't know how I feel about them!

Thankful

Happy Late Thanksgiving! Today I was very thankful. While I was at my grandma's house, I just kept thinking about how lucky I was to have such a great family. It's true that the things that matter most in life are free. I am so grateful to have a loving, close family. We all have our weird quirks and that is what makes everyone so special. I had such a great day today! After eating tons of food, all the girls (and Ryan), went to the movies. Everybody except for me, Lauren and Ryan went and saw Twilight. We saw the new Four Christmases movie. It was pretty funny, but I was wishing Brady was there the whole time. Then we all came home to my house and played a good game of Take Two. After that, my mom, Shelley and I watched The Notebook on tv. It was the perfect ending! Of course I couldn't keep from crying after only 15 minutes into the movie and by the end I was bawling. I am just so grateful for all the love I have in my life. This is why I have The Notebook music on my blog. I decided that everybody else will probably be changing their backgrounds and music to Christmas now, but I am going to love The Notebook till Dec. 1 and hold out. Happy Thanksgiving everybody! Thanks for reading my blog :)!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was really fun! My mom sent me the leather catsuit she wore last year. I wore it and some other accesories to be a devil. Emily was Minnie Mouse and Brady was a jabowakee (I probably spelled that wrong?) Anyway, we had a ton of fun! We went to Abbey's party and then to Lauren and Ryan's for a bit for some wings. I thought I would be self concious the whole night about wearing my catsuit, but I wasn't. On Saturday we went to the last BYU home game. It was really nice weather which made it fun. I can't wait to go home for Thanksgiving. I haven't been home since the beginning of August. It feels like forever ago!! School is getting pretty tough, but I think I might be able to graduate next Dec. which would be awesome!!
