I'm a junior...in college.

I haven't updated my blog lately because there is really nothing to update about. I moved into my new apartment and it's really nice! My mom drove Emily up last weekend, so she was here to help both Emily and I move in. For the last week and a half I stayed at the Jardine's house in Alpine, which was nice, but quite a commute. Anyway, my apartment is pretty small, but I'm used to it because my King Henry bedroom was also tiny. Keri is my only other roommate who has moved in and I alredy knew her. The other two girls are moving in this week. I'm really excited, but nervous at the same time! I have done a lot of things on my own i.e. Hawii and London, but for some reason this is more intimidating. I guess it's a little more personal. Today was the first day of classes at UVU. I started work last week and it was weird going from nobody in the halls to a ZILLION people in the halls. It really was crazy, but a good crazy. I enjoy the rush of stress and the high pace in which everyone walks as if they have somewhere more important than the person next to them to get to. It reminds me of the airport. Everybody there is trying to get on a plane and it's stressful. I like it. A couple days ago I had the idea to tie dye shirts so Brady had a bunch of people over and we tie dyed shirts and listened to music. It was really fun! It's finally time to get back to the real life. I thought I wanted this, but after going to class for 3 hours today I realized I was wrong.

My Best Friend's Wedding

Lauren Jo Davis is married!!! Her wedding was yesterday and it was quite and event. The reception was held in our backyard so the past couple weeks we have had people in and out setting up. The last few days have had really bad rainstorms at night, but we were so lucky that it was the most beautiful and perfect night! It's just weird that she is married now. I am so happy for her and Ryan! Congratulations!

E.F.Y. <3

Last week I was an EFY counselor at the University of Utah. It was one of the best experiences in my life! I seriously felt like I was more of a participant than a counselor. I had a group of 10 girls ages 16-18. Two of them were going to college in the fall! We all connected after all 11 of us got stuck in the elevator only minutes after meeting each other. My co-counselors were so awesome too! Kent is from Arizona so we had an instant connection. Not only because we are both from Arizona, but because of our love for the Suns and Queso Crunchwraps from Taco Bell. It was great. Sarah was my other co and she was the sweetest girl I have ever met! She made me feel comfortable right from the start and we had some really fun times together! Throughout the week there were talks, lessons, devotionals, dances, games and so much more. I am so grateful I was able to do this one week, but I wish I was able to more. Hopefully next summer I can do more sessions! I am home now for Lauren's wedding. It still doesn't seem real that she is getting married on Saturday.
